Social Media House Rules

The World Federation of Critical Care Nurses (WFCCN) encourages respectful comments and constructive discussion on its social media platforms. Our social media channels are intended to provide a forum for sharing information, engaging with WFCCN news, and participating in professional and civil discussions relevant to critical care nursing.

By engaging with WFCCN on any social media platform, you agree to comply with the following Social Media House Rules:

  • Be respectful. Treat other users, including WFCCN administrators and moderators, with courtesy and professionalism. Comments containing offensive, abusive, or inappropriate language, or those intended to provoke conflict, may be removed.
  • Comply with the law. Do not post content that is defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, infringes copyright, violates privacy, incites violence, or is otherwise unlawful. Images or content featuring individuals without their consent may be removed.
  • Stay on topic. Contributions should be relevant to the subject matter of the post or discussion. Off-topic comments, spam, or trolling behaviour may result in comments being deleted and users being blocked.
  • Do not dominate discussions. WFCCN reserves the right to hide or remove content from users who attempt to dominate conversations or disrupt constructive dialogue.
  • No advertising or solicitation. Posts promoting commercial products, services, or business activities, or soliciting funds or business, will not be permitted. WFCCN may share external links at its own discretion.
  • Be authentic and transparent. Users must not impersonate others or misrepresent their identity.

These rules apply to all social media accounts operated by WFCCN and are enforced consistently across all social media platforms.
